Óbidos is a class on tiles in Portugal. A panel of cultures that absorbed all national and international innovations that made tiles the strongest artistic expression in Portugal.
Óbidos allows us to trace a historical line from Hispano-Moorish tiles, to 17th century textile patterns, to the pioneer blue and white, to the great Joanine compositions.
